Who we are

About St. Thomas RAAM Clinic

At St. Thomas RAAM Clinic, our team is committed to providing comprehensive, accessible, and personalized addiction treatment care. We are passionate about helping patients regain control and achieve their recovery goals.

Our clinic opened on March 2, 2009. Within a decade, our services expanded to include immunizations and safer drug use equipment exchange. Hepatitis C screening and treatment have been available since our early years, and testosterone replacement therapy has been offered since day one. In August 2022, we introduced in-clinic counseling, at which point we became a RAAM (Rapid Access Addiction Medicine) clinic, reflecting the broad range of services we now provide.

We offer a friendly, non-judgmental approach, focusing on harm reduction and meeting individuals where they are. Understanding that relapse is part of recovery, we welcome patients back at any stage of their journey.

About RAAM Clinics

RAAM stands for “Rapid Access Addiction Medicine.” RAAM Clinics was first established in 2015 as part of the META initiative to provide quick and low-barrier access to addiction medicine care without needing an appointment or formal referral. Due to the success of this model, RAAM Clinics have expanded across Ontario and beyond.
